Bluecat Paper LLP is a handmade paper manufacturer based in Bangalore, India. We make 100% tree-free paper from agricultural and textile waste and supply it in bulk to brands, packaging companies, stationery makers, printers and exporters. No wood pulp is used at any stage.
We supply IKEA, Lush Cosmetics, Biocon, Flying Machine, U.S. Polo Assn. and Rare Rabbit, and we export to more than 40 countries.
What we manufacture
We produce around 20 varieties of handmade tree-free paper. Each one uses a different waste stream as its raw material:
- Textile by-products: cotton rag, denim residue, linen, flax, hemp
- Agricultural waste: coffee husk, banana fibre, lemongrass, corn husk, rice stubble, coconut, water hyacinth
- Speciality: seed paper, mulberry, bee-saving paper, elephant dung paper
Paper is available as sheets and finished products including notebooks, journals, packaging and stationery.

- Printing: compatible with inkjet, laser and letterpress

Custom and private label manufacturing
Most of our work is made to specification. We can adjust fibre blend, sheet size, texture, colour and finish, including deckle edge and watermarked paper. If you need a paper built around a specific waste stream from your own operations, we can develop it. Several of our papers started as a client waste problem.

Our factory
Manufacturing is at the Kumbalgodu Industrial Area in Bangalore, Karnataka. Production runs on a custom designed machine built for large scale tree-free paper, alongside handmade processes for speciality and small batch work. Factory visits can be arranged for serious buyers.
