Corn husk paper is made using the outer leaves of the corn plant — a part usually discarded after harvest. At Bluecat Paper LLP, we collect this agricultural waste and convert it into tree-free paper.
The paper has a light texture and a natural tint that comes from the husk fibers. No dyes or bleach are added. Each sheet reflects the raw material it’s made from.
Corn husk paper is used for:
Folders and tags
Packaging
Writing and sketching
Cards and inserts
Craft and design projects
Its surface allows for clean printing and writing. It also carries a natural finish that works well without coatings or lamination.
We use post-harvest corn husks, typically collected from farms after the kernels are removed. Our process:
We clean and sort the husks.
We break down the fiber using mechanical pulping.
We form sheets and dry them without bleach or synthetic additives.
We do not use wood pulp at any stage.
This process results in a Tree-Free Paper that uses less water and energy compared to conventional paper.
Made from agricultural byproducts
No trees are cut to produce it
No bleach or surface coatings
Compostable and recyclable
Aligned with circular material use
At Bluecat Paper LLP, corn husk paper is part of our work to reduce waste, preserve resources, and promote cleaner ways to make paper.
