Linen paper is made from pre-consumer linen fabric scraps. At Bluecat Paper LLP, we repurpose textile offcuts to create tree-free paper with a light texture and a quiet, natural character.
This paper is not coated or embossed. Its surface reflects the qualities of the fabric it came from — slightly crinkled, with a soft, fibrous feel.
Linen paper is suited for:
Invitations and covers
Tags and folders
Packaging
Journals and stationery
Art and creative work
The texture allows for easy writing and printing. It has a matte surface and a quiet, tactile presence.
We use residual linen fabric scraps collected from textile units. These are unused offcuts — clean, pre-consumer waste. Our process:
We remove synthetic threads from the fabric.
We break down the natural fibers into pulp.
We form sheets without bleach or additives.
We dry and finish the paper using a water-efficient method.
No trees are cut. No chemical coatings are used. This is Tree-Free Paper in the truest sense.
Made from unused linen fabric waste
No wood pulp or deforestation
Compostable and recyclable
Supports the responsible reuse of textile material
Reflects a cleaner, quieter way to make paper
At Bluecat Paper LLP, linen paper is part of our ongoing work to repurpose what already exists — and to make paper that leaves less behind.
