A strong, tree-free paper made from hemp
Hemp paper is made from the stalks of the hemp plant, one of the oldest papermaking fibres. It is strong, long-lasting and biodegradable. At Bluecat Paper we turn post-harvest hemp stalk waste into clean paper without bleach, wood pulp or harmful chemicals.
The result is durable, eco-conscious paper with a smooth surface that holds ink well and resists yellowing.

How it is made
We collect post-harvest hemp stalks and process them simply.
Stalks are cleaned and pulped with water and mechanical beating
Sheets are formed by hand or machine
